Coloring books that celebrate your family's culture and holidays

Kids notice early whether the families in their books look like theirs. The Cooperative Children's Book Center has counted that gap in children's publishing every year since 1985, and parents feel it every time they search for a coloring book with hair or skin or a holiday that matches their own.

These guides collect coloring books, printable pages and activities for holidays and heritage across many cultures, with sources for the traditions we describe. We are also making a small series of holiday coloring storybooks of our own, written with care and reviewed before any art is drawn.
